Yan Kwai Cron

Yan Kwai Cron was born April 25, 1922 in Honolulu, HI and she passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin at the age of 96.  Yan was the daughter of Lin Look Lau and Shee Loui Lau.  She was a retired librarian. Mrs. Cron was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband Samuel Cron of Gallatin, daughter Barbara (Barb) Walker and her husband John of Gallatin, Grandchildren, Taylor Walker and wife Katie of Gallatin and Caleb Walker of Hendersonville; great-grandchildren, Xander, Harper Kate and Jack Walker. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019, 4 - 8 pm at Gallatin First Baptist Church, 205 E Main St, Gallatin TN.  Visitation will also be on Thursday, January 31, 2019, 11 - 12 pm at the church followed by the funeral service at 12 pm with Pastor Travis Fleming and Rev. Chuck Neugebauer officiating.  Entombment will follow in Sumner Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to Homebound Ministries of Gallatin First Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Taylor Walker, Caleb Walker, Jay Howell, Eddie Cron, Sam Kirby, Joseph Abraham and Jerry Blunkall Sumner County Funeral and Cremation Services assisting family with arrangements.  615-452-9059
