William Jerry Oxford, Sr., age 78, of Adolphus, KY passed away on Thursday October 3, 2019 at Westmoreland Healthcare and Rehab.
William was born in Camden, TN on Wednesday November 13, 1940, son of Gilbert and Addie Oxford. William worked as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean Corbit Oxford who passed away in 2013, his parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Survivors include his sons, William Oxford, Jr. and Sid Oxford both of Bethpage; daughters, Addie Patrick of Westmoreland, Sam Campbell of Gallatin and Letta Lawing of Lafayette; brother, Buddy Oxford of Mt. Vernon, IL. 7 grandchildren also survive. Services will be held at a later date. Sumner County Funeral and Cremation Services in charge of arrangements. 615-452-9059
