William Grant Livengood

William Grant Livengood, age 81 of Hendersonville, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018.
He was a patient and graceful husband, father and grandfather who “ Hung the Moon” for many people. He also distinguished himself as a Medic in the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Rosella Livengood; sister, Thelma Livengood and his brother, Dale Livengood. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Livengood; daughter, Paige (Brian) Livengood Perkins; son, William Todd (Rachael) Livengood; brother, Garold Livengood; sister Eleanor Barnhill; grandchildren, Brandon Larcom, Ryan Livengood, James Larcom, Lance Livengood, Tristan Larcom, William Larcom and Jorden Livengood.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. An Inurnment will be scheduled at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
The family has requested that memorials be made to the American Cancer Association.
