William Howard Green

William Howard Green, age 71 of Pegram, TN, died October 16, 2023.  He was born in Nashville, TN on November 27, 1951. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Lee and Myrtle Marie (Newman) Green and brothers: Charles E., James L., Robert E., Elmer L., M. Wayne, Rickie M., and Michael Green.

 He is survived by his wife Mary Felice (Ferrell) Green, brothers Phillip M. Green (Judy) and Dennis L. Green (Sheila), daughter Ashley Steele, granddaughters Megan and Madison, and nieces and nephews. 

Much of his career was spent with Austin Powder Company as an explosive’s technician.  He retired from Monroe Carroll Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Central Supply. 

A memorial service will be held on November 1, 2023 at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 6501 Pennywell Dr., Nashville, TN. 37205, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:30 until time for service. 

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center, Vanderbilt Heart Center or St. David’s Episcopal Church.
