William "Bill" David Hasty, Jr., 79, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on September 6, 2021, in Gallatin.
Bill was born on January 31, 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late William Hasty and Nora Hasty.
William graduated from East High School in East Nashville. He had a career as a truck driver for over 30 years. He also coached youth football, basketball, and baseball in Old Hickory.
William is survived by his son, Gary Hasty, Sr.; grandsons, Gary Hasty, Jr. and Wesley Hasty; and granddaughter Kayla Hasty.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sons, William "Bubba" Hasty, III; and Jeffery Wayne Hasty.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
