Walter Corey Maxey

Walter Corey Maxey, age 37 of Hendersonville, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. Corey was a loving son, husband and father whose family meant everything to him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Maxey and paternal grandparents, Oscar and Irene Cook. He is survived by his wife, Natasha Maxey; mother, Donna Ricketts; father, Robert Cook; grandmother, Carol Maxey; children, Evan Carstedt and Lucas and LeAna Maxey; brother, Robbie Cook; sisters, Stephanie Cook, Alicia Cunningham, Morgan Cook, Tonya Ricketts and Tammy Ricketts. Due to the Covid outbreak, visitation for family members only will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. His Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Cornerstone Church Nashville, 726 W. Old Hickory Blvd. Madison, TN 37115. Interment will be in Beech Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations be made to Natasha Maxey for the Corey Maxey Memorial Fund c/o First Horizon Bank. Those funds will be used for the benefit of a scholarship fund for his children: Evan, LeAna and Lucas Maxey.
