Tincy Strahin

Leora (Tincy) Carr Strahin, age 78, of Baxter, passed away on Tuesday August 13, 2019 at her residence.

Tincy was born, on Thursday March 6, 1941, to Othel and Levola Anderson Carr.  Tincy was a homemaker and a member of the University Heights Baptist Church in Cookeville. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Kenny Strahin; brothers, Bobby, Marty, Mike, Jimmy and an infant brother; sisters, Hilda Carr Maxwell, Jean Carr Mackie, Ann Carr Neely, Margaret Carr Thomas and Becky Carr Maynard. Survivors include Ralph Arthur Strahin of Baxter; son, Timmy Strahin, daughters, Susan Strahin Benton and Judy Strahin Hedgecough, brother, Jerry Carr; sisters, Carolyn Carr Bates, Shirley Carr Douglas and Jan Carr Greene; grandchildren, Danielle Dunson Williams, Jessica Lynn Arms, Savanah Benton Bowman, Angela Christiana Benton, Corey Ray Strahin, Carolann Strahin, Kendra Dawn Strahin and Shawn Douglas Strahin  great-grandchildren, Johnny Ray Williams, Luke Allen Williams, Malerie Lynn Dickerson, Tristan Tate Dickerson, Elizah Zachary Bowman, Kayden Allen Benton, Karson James Lipscomb, Addison Michelle Benton, Isla Rayne Lipscomb, Alivia Rae Owens, Skyler Ray Strahin, Makayla Strahin and Adrian Steel Strahin .  Other relatives also survive, Chevelle Ramsey and Nicholos Kinniard. Celebration of Life Services will be held on August 24, 2019 at noon at the Boma Community Center located at 3500 Boma Community Center Rd, Baxter, TN 38544 with Pastor Frank Rogers officiating.   Sumner County Funeral and Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.  615-452-9059
