Thomas Cleo Mcclendon

Thomas Cleo McClendon, age 76 of Hendersonville, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018.
He was retired from Armstrong Tire, TVA, and was a General Contractor and owner of Thomas McClendon Remodeling Service. Thomas was a loving husband, Dad and Pawpaw. He loved kids, hunting, fishing and helping others; but, most of all, he loved the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Dorothy McClendon; his son, Tim McClendon; and his sister, Carol Roberson. He is survived by his best friend and the love of his life, his wife of 34 years who will love him forever, Bonnie McClendon; his daughters, Mischa (Woody) Thomason and Teresa (Brian) Bowman; his daughter-in-law, Lisa McClendon; his sons, Troy (Stephanie) McClendon and Wayne (Chere) Pitcock; his brother, Ira “Bubba” (Jackie) McClendon; his sister, Patsy Frazier; and his grandchildren, Kaylee and Kara Reese, Dalton and Dakota McClendon, Bryce and Brooke Bowman, Cory, Luke and Sam McClendon, and Jerry Sloan Pitcock; several nieces and nephews; and many loving extended family members and friends.
The Family will receive friends on Friday, February 16, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. A private interment for immediate family only is scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.,
