Sylvia D. Evans, age 72, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at home.
Mau Mau, as her family knew her, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. For 50 years, she enjoyed her work as an insurance agent. She also loved sewing quilts, camping and horseback riding.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth R. Evans; daughters, Angie (Ted) Hinsley, Sherri (Steve) Craig; siblings, Dianna (Len) Worley, Dennis Woratschek; grandchildren, Drew Hinsley, Hannah Craig, Shelby Craig, and Carson Craig.
Her family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Sunday, July 5, from 2-5pm at Austin & Bell in Hendersonville.
