Shirley Ann Williams, age 86, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at home.
She was born on July 6, 1936, in Sumner County, to the late Ezra Pearson and the late Effie Gilliam Pearson.
Shirley was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly. She was known for her love of her family, church, and University of Kentucky boys basketball.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandchild, Matthew Wayne Lackey, Pauline Perdue, Gladys Thompson, Leo Pearson, Ray Pearson, Edward Pearson, and Earl Pearson.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Elaine Lackey (Wayne), Angela Marie Legate (Robert); grandchildren, Lucas Scott Hauskins, Ethan Lee Meador (Kenzie); great-grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Hauskins, Hannah Hailey Hauskins, Lucas Scott Hauskins, Jr., Lubbock Lee Meador, and Summit Fawn Meador.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Creekside Fellowship church, 101 Harsh Lane, Castalian Springs, TN 37031, in the small Chapel, on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Chad Ashman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Creekside Fellowship.
