Sherry Lynn Wheeler

Sherry Lynn Wheeler, age 66 of Hendersonville, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2025 at her home. 

Sherry was born on October 22, 1958 in Union City, Indiana to the late Charles and Frances Schlechty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy Logan Dynes and Pamela Schlechty; and son, Joshua Wheeler. 

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jim Wheeler; children, Vicki Felts, James T. Wheeler, and Renae Bradford (P.J.); 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Chuck Schlechty (Deanna), Kay Helf, Debbie Price, and Eric Schlechty; and several nieces and nephews. 

A Celebration of Sherry’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
