Sherry L. Tiedt, age 78 of Gallatin, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025 at her home. Sherry was born on February 27, 1947 in Winchester, Tennessee to the late George and Elizabeth Brannan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky Wood; grandson, Nicholas Fowler; and siblings, Nancy Taylor, Eddie Brannan, and Rodney Brannan.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Chrisitan Tiedt; children, Robert Tiedt (Sherry) and Brenda Fowler; grandchildren, Michael Casey Fowler, Matthew Fowler, Brandon Tiedt (Tristan), and Courtney Tiedt Fuller (Justin); 12 Great-Grandchildren; and siblings, Pat Rohling, Georganna McCollum, Linda Bennett, and Jonathan Brannan.
She had a huge heart; was a hairdresser for many years; devoted caregiver for 41 years to her husband, Christian; always helped others; longtime parishioner at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Dan Steiner, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Beech Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside in Hendersonville and on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of the Funeral Mass at the church.
