Sarah "Sally" Cason

Sarah “Sally” Cason, age 78 of Hendersonville, passed away May 4, 2023. Sally was born on February 10, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Joe and Harriet Cason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Kay Cason, Harriet “Fran” Qumsieh, Margaret “Peggy” Bingham, and Allison Humphries.

Sally is survived by her siblings, Joe Cason, Jr. (Linda) and Edith Cason Owens (Terry); and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Sally was born and raised in Nashville, a 1963 graduate of Isaac Litton High School, graduated from Falls Business College, attended Memphis State College, and graduated from Histology Technical College in North Carolina. She was a longtime member of Community Church in Hendersonville where she served in many roles of volunteer service which reflected her entire life.

Sally was a retired histologist from Baptist/St. Thomas Hospital where she worked for many years. She was always serving and giving to others and will be remembered for her sweetness and caring spirit.
