Russell Calvin Belcher

Russell Calvin Belcher, age 76 of White House, passed away peacefully at his home on March 9, 2025. 

He is preceded in death by his mother Gracie Belcher, his father Jona Belcher, his sister Judy Abbott (Clinton). 

He is survived by his daughter, Beth Garrison (Jason); grandchildren, Kyle, Katie, Adam, and Emily; brother, Dale Belcher; and sisters, Amy Belcher and Sherry Rodrick (Frank). 

Russell was drafted in the Navy at 18, where he did a short stint, before being medically discharged. He was employed by Peterbilt Motors in Madison, TN for 26 years. He lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who he adored. 

His other passion was cars. He knew a lot about cars. He loved spending time cleaning his Camaro, (or blue as he called it), which he enjoyed taking to the Hendersonville Cruise-In on Friday nights, and various other car shows around town. He also enjoyed fishing, going to the movies, and taking trips with his family. 

Russell was a very genuine, kindhearted, loving, down to earth person. He will be greatly missed.
