Rosemary Pond-Oswalt, age 95 of Hendersonville and formerly of Texas, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2022. Rosemary was preceded in death by 2 husbands and her son. She was raised in South Texas, once a Texan-always a Texan! She is survived by 2 daughters; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Rosemary was an excellent teacher for 31 years in Texas. She was an excellent cook and home interior designer. Rosemary moved to Tennessee to be near her children and their families. She lived at Maple Cottage in Hendersonville where she thrived! The staff at Maple Cottage were kind, attentive, and very loving. There were many activities and gatherings (when possible) for families and friends to enjoy together outside on the patio and inside celebrations as well. The daily activities were so much fun as the residents socialized together for exercise, games, and arts & crafts. Rosemary loved her friends and each staff member who added so much joy during her last years. The food was delicious and the variety was healthy! Our family want to thank all of the staff at Maple Cottage, especially the owners, Dale and Grace for every special moment you gave our wonderful loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at her granddaughters home on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2-6 pm, come and go, all are invited. 703 Brass Lantern Place, Brentwood, TN 37027
