Robert Milton Dorris

Robert Milton Dorris, age 85 of Hendersonville, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018. He is a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Hendersonville. Earlier during his life, Bob was the Music Director at several churches. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Barker and Ethel Dorris; his daughter, Pamela Dorris; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Dorris; his daughter, Angela (Kevin) Dycus; grandchildren, Sasha Park and Sinjin Park; and his sister, Virginia Utley.
His family will receive friends on Monday, May 7, from 11:00am until his Celebration of Life Service at 1:00pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville with Dr. Larry Gilmore officiating. Interment will follow in Beech Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
