It’s never enough time. Those of us left always want more, but a truly happy ever after love story has paused
It’s with great sadness and very fond memories that the family of Robert “Bob” Cook of Hendersonville, TN announce his passing on September 8, 2020. Bob was a beloved husband, father, DonPap, brother, friend, and coach.
Grief can stop you in your tracks, but also lets you realize how lucky you are to have loved, and been loved so deeply. Bob had the biggest heart that he freely shared with so many. He was the toughest man, a great teammate and a wonderful friend. So many of you have shared such great stories.
While he never met a stranger, or missed a party, he always took an opportunity to give back. Family always came first. He was so devoted and proud. We’ll never hear Conway Twitty’s “Hello Darlin” or an LE White ballad without thinking of this big man.
He is survived by his wife, Marilou, of 46 years; son, Bobby and daughter in law, Maggie, daughter Nicole and four grandchildren, Bryce, Xander, Mairead, and Rowden.
At his request, no services are planned at this time. Please raise a toast to his life, as the fourth quarter has ended.
