Ricky Glenn Hamilton, Sr.

Ricky Glenn Hamilton, Sr., age 62 of Hendersonville, passed away on May 20, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Rick was born on March 27, 1959 in Long Beach, California to Royce and Doris Hamilton. Rick attended Hendersonville High School; he was a proud mason and had a love and passion for his work; he enjoyed volunteering at the American Legion in Gallatin; loved NASCAR, bonfires, Budweiser, and camping and being on the water; above all he loved being "Pops" to his grandchildren and loved them more than anything. Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Martin Hamilton; and sister, Regina Hamilton Bush. He is survived by his children, Amanda Rambo (Brandon) and Ricky Hamilton, Jr.; grandchildren, Wyat Rambo, Hoyt Rambo, Iley Rambo, Peyton Hamilton, and Coltyn Hamilton; and his father, Royce Hamilton; siblings, Donna Brewer (Bill), Larry Hamilton, Barry Hamilton (Kelly), and Angela Fletcher (Michael); brother-in-law, Rusty Bush; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021, 3:00 P.M. at Impact Fellowship in Gallatin. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
