Richard Thomas Neely

Richard Thomas Neely (58), of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away on February 18, 2024. He owned his own business ‘Richard’s Home Repairs and More’ bringing homeowners’ visions to life and was sought after by many for his expertise. He was a talented drummer from a young age and continued to play with his most recent band, Chain Link, every Saturday.

Richard held many titles in his life from ‘Harley Rider’ to ‘Amazing Fisherman’ but his favorite role was being a husband to his loving wife of 27 years, a father to his children who adored and admired him, then later becoming the best Papa to his grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Peter Neely, and his brother, Peter Neely, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Tara Neely, children Brittney Kurdy (Ben), Kayla Neely, Tyler Neely, Taryn Neely (JT), grandchildren Nova Rose and Myles Richard Price Turner, mother Margaret Neely, sisters Cindy McCormick (Ricky), Amy Bozzelli, Dana Clark (David), several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and his lifelong best friend Donny Judkins.

The Celebration of Life will be held at Sanders Ferry Park, 513 Sanders Ferry Rd., Pavilion 6, in Hendersonville, TN on April 7, 2024 from 1-5 p.m.

Donations may be made to the family for final expenses.
