Ohlie Clifton Brown

Ohlie Clifton “Butch” Brown Jr, 70 of Gallatin, TN, passed peacefully at his home on December 17^th, 2023; he was born September 8^th,1953 to the late Wallace Jefferson Brown and Dorothy Baskerville Brown.

Butch is preceded in death by his brother Wallace Wayne Brown of Portland.  Butch is survived by daughter, Tammi Linnea (Brown) Whitefield (Ronnie); granddaughters, Mary Jane (Janie) Whitefield and Anna Katherine (Katie) Whitefield; grandson, Carter Neil Whitefield; sister, Linda Fleming (Ray), 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Butch enjoyed all things outdoors including softball and skydiving in his younger years.  Golf, duck hunting and fishing were also passions of his.  He was a Boilermaker for TVA for many years and enjoyed his last years living at Cedar Creek Marina and helping fellow boaters at the docks.

In lieu of funeral services, the family will spread his ashes in his beloved Old Hickory Lake later this spring.
