Norman J. Chandler

Norman J. Chandler, age 78 of Gallatin passed away January 15, 2022. Norman was born in Sumner County, Tennessee on August 7, 1943 to the late Mont and Alice Chandler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Novel Ray Chandler, Louis Chandler, Cordell Chandler, Freddie Chandler, Barbara Brooks, and Jeanette McNabb. Norman is survived by his wife of 22 years, Irma Joe Chandler; sisters, Nancy Brooks (Leroy) of Westmoreland and Faye Glasgow (Doyle) of Cottontown; brother, Montie Chandler of Hartsville; step-son, Lee Meador (Dawn) of New York; step-daughter, Kristy Meador of Gallatin; step-grandchildren, Danielle Middleton, Barbie Meador, Allen Rose, Cody Ladd, and Destinee Guzman; and 5 step great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service honoring Norman will be held on Wednesday, January 19th at 2:30 P.M. at Gallatin City Cemetery.
