Norma Jean Davis, age 78 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Monday, December 17, surrounded by loving family in her home.
Norma was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and all kinds of crafts.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John Douglas “Bop” Davis; baby, Troy Allen Davis; and brother, Lawrence (Mary) Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Goddard Harrington; son, Butch (Lisa) Doris; daughter, Tonya (Tommy) Garrett; grandchildren, Renee and Jesse Garrett, Doug and Jimmy Davis; and sisters, Linda (Tony) Bull, and Gale (Doug) Cripps.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 19, from 6pm until 8pm, and again on Thursday from 9am until her Celebration of Life Service at 10am at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville with Chaplain Edward Colf of Avalon Hospice officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville National Cemetery at Noon. Family and friends serve as pall bearers.
