Nancy Ann Trask, age 82 of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully Friday, October 2, 2020 with family by her side. Although born in Michigan and lived a number of years in North Carolina, Nancy proudly called Hendersonville, Tennessee home. She was married to the love of her life, Skip, for almost 52 years. Together they enjoyed musical concerts, walks on the beach, caring for their beautiful plants, watching birds visit their many feeders, and traveling to see family and friends. Nancy was a devoted mother to their children, Skipper, Cheryl, Terry, Michelle, Tim, and Mark. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She loved to talk about her children and was quick to pull out a photo of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She passionately loved people and her affection was made evident by the way she cared for family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. Nancy’s affection was not limited to her daily contacts. She sought out opportunities to serve others. She volunteered for the Children’s Miracle Network, Christmas for Kids; served as an adult education teacher, and supported the Ronald McDonald House. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Leslie Maltby; and son, Mark Trask. She is survived by her husband, Carlos Chester Trask III (Skip), five children and their spouses; Carlos Trask IV (wife, Paulette), Cheryl Byerly, Terry Gravley (husband, Walt), Michelle Allan (husband, Bruce), and Tim McCormack (wife Cyndi), twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
