Mike Dale Lloyd, age 76, of Westmoreland, Tennessee, originally of Akron, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, surrounded by family at home in Westmoreland.
He was born on December 2, 1945 in Elkins, West Virginia, to the late Dale Lloyd and the late Mabel Lloyd. He was an amazing, selfless man who never met a stranger. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karen Lloyd; daughter, Tami Hennacy of Florida, step-daughter, Shelley Perry of Westmoreland; step-son, Bryan Penix of Westmoreland; step-son, Todd Penix (Alice) of Akron, Ohio; and he was also blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In February 1997 Mike petitioned Loyalty Lodge #645 as an Apprentice Mason and was raised to the degree to of Fellow Craft Master Mason on April 27, 2002 at Akron Lodge #83; he is in good standing at Fairfield Lodge #553. He was also proud to be a Tadmore Shriner in Akron, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his four siblings.
Per Mr. Lloyd's wishes, cremation will take place with no services.
