Michael Burnette Hodges Jr.

Michael Burnette Hodges, Jr., age 46 of Hendersonville, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, December 25, 2017.
Michael was a beloved husband, son, father, brother and uncle. He never met a stranger. He was an avid UT and Titans Football fan who also enjoyed fishing and, most recently, Top Golf.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Samuel & Lorraine Hodges and Tom & Doris Dickenson.
Michael is survived by his wife, Carrie Snyder Hodges; his sons, Michael B. Hodges, III, Zachary Hodges and Conner Ryan Hodges; his daughter, Kelsie Snyder; his parents, Mike and Becky Hodges; and his sister, Stacey Hutcherson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, from 4-8pm and again on Friday from 12:00 until his Celebration of Life Service at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Hendersonville, officiated by Bro. Mike McClanahan. Interment will follow in Beech Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Chad and Daniel Currie, Dawson Hutcherson, Michael Hodges III, Dan Currie, Todd Escue, Michael Snyder and Richard Snyder.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-9959.
