Michael Len “Mike” Escue, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2021. Mike was born on January 3, 1947 in Nashville to the late Samuel Leonard Escue and the late Aline Culbreath Escue. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Janice Roach Escue; brother, Samuel Joseph Escue (Kathy); sisters-in-law, Sharon Walden (Steve), Frances Peters, Phyllis Randalls (Danny), and Donna Williams (Bobby); and several beloved nieces and nephews. Mike was a graduate of Stratford High School in Nashville; he received his undergraduate degree from Memphis State University and his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mike was a longtime Minister of the Gospel and pastored churches in Illinois, Arizona, California, and Tennessee; he took numerous foreign mission trips to Rio de Janeiro, Costa Rica, Taiwan, China, Japan, Israel, and Egypt. Mike had a mighty love for God’s Word and evangelism. A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held on Tuesday, November 9th at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel at First Baptist Church Hendersonville with his brother-in-law, Bobby Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the church.
