Loving son of Roy and Mary Brush, deceased. Survived by his wife, Patti Brush; son, Ryan Brush; stepchildren, Sean Racky, Meghan (Bernie) Rubio, Matthew (Mary Nieting) Racky and Molly (Jasin Todd) Racky; loving Papa to Michael and Mia Rubio. Loving brother of Mary Lou (Bud) Strassheim, Beverly (Grant) Berning, Frances (Ward) Shampine, Lynne (Paul) Kwak, Irene (Phil) Berner, Eileen (Jim) Simpson and Daniel (Lauralee) Brush. Brother-in-law to Michael (Carol) Johnston and Kelly Johnston. Proud Uncle of 22 nieces and nephews (late, Joshua Brush) and Great Uncle of 36. Born and raised in the Beverly Neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Proud Navy Veteran and lifelong railroader. He cherished his family, friends and music. Enjoyed everything boating, Woodsmoke Ranch and many fun times with family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, 1:00 P.M. at the American Legion Post 615, 17423 67th Court, Tinley Park, Illinois 60477. Cremated Remains will be buried at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois at a later date.
