Mary Evelyn Adkins Pickle

Mary Evelyn Adkins Pickle, age 98 of Gallatin and formerly of Columbia, passed away May 5, 2022 with her son by her side. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Hattie Adkins; and siblings, Robby Adkins, James Adkins, Rebert Adkins, Porter Adkins, and JC Frodgue. She is survived by her son, Gary Pickle (Carol); granddaughter, Joy Mehorczyk (Gary); great-grandchildren, Caleb Nixon and Emma Mehorczyk; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was a charter member of the First Assembly of God in Columbia where they honored her with the Pillar of Faith Award; she most recently attended House of Grace in Gallatin, TN. She worked in dress shops and drug stores in the Columbia area for many years; she was known for her cooking abilities and enjoyed preparing meals for others over the years. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. from the House of Grace Assembly of God, 600 Lock 4 Road in Gallatin with Pastor Todd Alexander officiating. Mary will be laid to rest at a later date beside her parents at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia, Tennessee.
