Mark Dean Long

Mark Dean Long, Sr, (63) born May 28th, 1960 in Muncey, Indiana passed into the presence of Almighty God on May 3rd, 2024. Mark served his country in the United States Navy. Upon discharge he moved to the Nashville, Tennessee area where he worked alongside his father and supervised his brothers in the family business becoming a professional swimming pool technician at Penguin Pools Inc. formerly located in Old Hickory, Tennessee.

Mark is preceded in death by his father Willard Dean Long, his mother Joan Patricia Miller, Stepfather J.S. Bill Miller and Stepfather Robert Earl Cox. Mark is survived by his son Sergeant First Class Mark Dean Long, Jr (Julia), his grandchildren Candace, Abigail, Sofia, Andrea, great grandchild Mason, his sister Patricia Denise Long Kennedy, his brother Michael Clay Long (Tami), his brother Scott Allan Long (Charlsey) his Step Mother Lois Jean Long Cox, and a multitude of family, friends and loved ones.

Mark will be missed, and the family takes comfort in his confession of faith  in the Lord Jesus Christ. Services will be held at Miracle Temple Church 1335 Plum Street, Madison, TN 37115. Marks brother, Pastor Scott Long, will be presiding. Services will be held on May 11th, 2024 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers a love offering will be received.
