Mark Sidney Burton

Mark Sidney Burton, age 56 of Hendersonville, passed away unexpectedly on November 13, 2023. Mark was born on March 25, 1967 in Nashville, Tennessee to Sidney Wilson Burton and Alicia Ann Adams. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Dorothy Adams and L.B. and Willie Burton. 

Mark is survived by his wife, Kelly Burton; children, Katie Burton, Madison Daniel, Sean Burton, and Briana Burton; parents, Alicia and Sidney Burton; sister, Allison Witt; aunt and uncle, Barbara and Larry Daley.

Mark was born in Nashville but raised in Hendersonville. He graduated from ITT in 2009 with his Associates Degree and was a member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. Mark was funny, sarcastic and witty-he had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed video games, fishing, playing the bass, bowling, and cooking. 

A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside with Pastor Don Hutchison officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until time of service.
