Marilyn C. Church

Marilyn C. Church, age 64 of Gallatin, passed away February 24, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Marilyn was born November 23, 1957 to the late Jake and Lois Proffitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Irene Proffitt; and nephew, Billy Perkins. She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Church; daughters, Melissa Bennett-Pickard and Angela Craddock (Eric); grandchildren, Vivian Pickard, Knox Atchison, Morgan Craddock, and soon to be born, June Elizabeth Christine Craddock; siblings, Juanita Levis, Carol Stillwell, Pam England and Mike Proffitt (Jennifer); several nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Brenda King and Janice Dorris (Mike). A Celebration of Marilyn’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 12:00 P.M., with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Point Church, 1200 Hartsville Pike in Gallatin with Pastor Mark Grubb officiating. Marilyn was a vivacious, strong and courageous woman, who was a talented artist, writer, singer, gardener, cook, and hairdresser with a deep love for life, her family, friends, and cats, Bella and Leo.
