Lisa Jean Carter Bastian

Lisa Jean Carter Bastian, age 52 of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly November 9, 2021. Lisa was born on March 21, 1969 in Nashville, Tennessee to Gene Carter and Barbara Baird. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Norman Urschel and step-mother, Ann Carter. Lisa is survived by her husband, Patrick Bastian; children, Chad Fields (Tori), Cory Fields (Nacole) and Chelsie Fields Pal (Charlie); grandchildren, Hunter Fields, Owen Fields, Henry Pal, Emery Fields, and Carter Fields; parents, Barbara Urschel and Gene Carter; sister, Lesley Curtis (Allen); brothers, Joey Johnson (Monique), Steve Green (Jenny) and Wayne Urschel; and her nephews. Lisa was many things but above all else she was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother who shared her love equally with all three. In accordance with her wishes, Lisa will be cremated; visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. with a private family service to follow.
