Linda Harbin Woodis, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family November 4,2024, at the age of 77. Born on May 13, 1947, Linda dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting her loved ones, embodying the true spirit of family.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Linda's heart was deeply entwined with those she cherished. She is survived by her daughter, Mitzi Brock (Dwayne), and her beloved grandson, Joshua Jones (Sara), who will forever hold in their hearts the warmth of her unwavering love. Linda was a proud great-grandmother to Weston, Harrison, and Dalton Jones, who brought immense happiness to her life.
Her siblings Sherry Smith and Chuck Harbin, along with several cherished nieces and nephews, will also remember Linda for her bright spirit and kindness. She created ties that bound her family closer together, weaving a tapestry of relationships built on affection and support.
Linda had a particular fondness for satin ribbons, always keeping some close at hand. This simple joy was a reflection of her beautiful personality—elegant, creative, and loving. She infused her world with vibrancy and warmth, making every gathering a cherished memory.
She is now reunited with her parents, Chess and Shine Harbin, and her husband, Wayne Woodis, who she missed dearly. Their spirits will continue to guide her loving family, reminding them of the importance of family bonds and the enduring strength of love.
On November 9, 2024, family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Linda will gather at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside in Hendersonville, TN, to celebrate the remarkable life she lived. The visitation begins at 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life starting at 3:00 PM.
While Linda may no longer walk among us, her legacy of love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She taught us the true meaning of family and connection, leaving behind a profound impact that will echo for generations to come. Her spirit will live on in every hug, every shared moment, and every satin ribbon that brings a smile to our faces.
