Laura Bearden, age 39, passed away unexpectedly July 15, 2022. Laura was born on September 30, 1982 in Nashville, Tennessee to James Kenney Bearden and Jo Ann McClain Bearden. Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents, John McClain, Frances McClain and Kenneth Bearden. She is survived by her parents, Kenney and Jo Ann Bearden; sister, Beth May (Jesse), nieces, Elise May and Emma May; grandmother, Mary Bearden; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Laura’s life verse was Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? “Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Laura never seemed to fear. She always trusted Go as she faced many difficulties in her life. Laura always wanted to give to others because God had done so much for her. Laura work at H.A.T.S in Gallatin and then at Tennessee Rehabilitation Center in Smyrna was her ministry as she worked with her special students. A Celebration of Laura’s life will be held 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside, 104 Sanders Ferry Road in Hendersonville with Jerry Whitson officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the Fairfield Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jamie Seal, Daniel Tidwell, Wilson Ruleman, Tucker Hicks, Jameson Kitzler, William Anglea, and Kenneth Todd.
