Larue Martin

LaRue Martin was born April 25, 1937 in Russellville, AL to Jewel and Russell Hutcheson and was the oldest of 7 children. She married the love of her life, Sam Martin, on March 14, 1955 - a marriage that lasted 66 years. Together they had 3 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. LaRue went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 27th at the age of 84 surrounded by the love of her family. She was a strong woman of faith who left a legacy her entire family is inspired to continue - a tradition of deep love and care that extended beyond family to neighbors and friends along her path. She certainly lived a full and blessed life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
