Konrad Maurer, Sr.

Konrad Maurer, Sr., age 67 of Hendersonville passed away peacefully on June 10, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Austria on June 17, 1953 to John and Rose Maurer. Konrad was a fun loving, hard worker. His best friends and closest family are the ones he spent time with on projects and work. He embraced his love for the lake every chance he had and was known by many for his long hair and loud music. His selfless, family first attitude shined in everything he did. Konrad is preceded in death by his father, John Maurer. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lenore Maurer; mother, Rose Maurer; sons, Konrad “Marty” Maurer, Jr., Garrett Maurer (Lauren), Wesley Maurer (Jessica), and Devin Maurer (Elsbeth); grandchildren, Sage, Alexzander, Ariel, Adrian Konrad, and Avie Grace Maurer; and brother, John Maurer, Jr. In accordance with his wishes, Konrad will be cremated and a private Celebration of Life will be held.
