Kathy Mae Stubbs

Kathy Mae Stubbs, age 75 of Madison, went home to be with the Lord on January 23, 2025. Kathy was born on January 16, 1950 in Dover, Tennessee to the late Eugene and Mary Herndon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Longino, Ann Wheeler, Linda Ramsey, and Max Herndon.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bill Stubbs; daughters, Andrea Sullivan (Mike) and Lori Cornish; grandchildren, Bryant Caldwell, Hunter Daughtrey, and Nova Cornish.

Kathy was raised in Waverly, Tennessee and was a graduate of Waverly Central High School. She was a wonderful, loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She loved people, loved life, and always had a smile on her face. Kathy was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Madison, TN and loved her church family. She worked for several years at Davidson Academy and spent many years watching children in the home.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside in Hendersonville with Pastor Sergio Arce officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Madison First Baptist Church, 719 Gallatin Pike S., Madison, TN 37115.
