Kathleen Elizabeth Griffith

Born on May 12, 1959, the daughter of Calvin and Blanche "Jean" Kerridge Keefer, Kathy spent her entire adult life caring for and healing others.  Sadly she lost her own fight for life on Aug 21, 2018, after an extended illness.    She married the love of her life, John Griffith, having no children of their own a true blessing came into their lives, Theresa Galler.. Kathy embraced Theresa as her own and celebrated their lives together as mother and daughter. Kathleen graduated from Buffalo School of Nursing, Buffalo, NY.  She became a trauma R.N. at Clifton Springs Hospital in Clifton Springs, NY.  After marriage, her career path took her to be  a supervisor at Vanderbilt Unv. Med. Ctr ER Dept. in Nashville, TN and Sumner Regional Medical Center. Kathleen is survived by her husband, John Griffith of Gallatin, TN and daughter Theresa Galler of France.  Her mother "Jean" Keefer and sister Christine (John) Saeli  of Geneva, NY,  and sister Lisa (Don) Freier of Seneca Falls, NY.  Special grandson, Jean-Luc Galler of France, and several neices and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her father, Calvin  and sister Colleen Keefer . Services will be held at the Gallatin Church of Christ at 150 E Main St., Gallatin, TN  on 9/10/18 at 6 p.m.  Bro.
