Julia Ruth Cannon, age 70, of Gallatin, Tennessee, and formerly of Anniston, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Westmoreland Care and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.
She was born on April 20, 1951 in Anniston, Alabama, to the late Cecil Gilbert and the late Paulene Bittle. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt who will be missed dearly.
She is survived by daughters, Shellie Cannon (Rick Anderson), Tonya Severino, Ila Jenni Wells (Darrin); grandchildren, Arin Wells, J.D. Livingston, Taylor Anderson, Madison Anderson, Wesley Anderson, Adrian Ayala, Ana Ayala; one great-grandchild, Basliah Reyer; brother, Joe Gilbert (Martha); nieces and nephews, Mitzi Sanders, Holly Ward, Alexis Perdue; and several other beloved family members.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John Cannon; and several beloved siblings.
