Joshua “Josh” Michael Campbell, age 26 of Hendersonville, tragically passed away on August 16, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee. Josh was born on May 21, 1998 to Mike Campbell and Becky Poland.
Josh was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Durwood and Margie Poland. Josh is survived by his sister, Tori Head, and her husband Mitchell; his niece, Campbell Head; his grandparents, James and Lottie Campbell; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Josh received a high school diploma from EB Wilson High School in 2017, an accomplishment that brought pride to his family and friends. Josh grew up as a member of the Hendersonville Church of Christ. His faith was a cornerstone in his life and often where he turned during times of hardship.
Josh grew up playing little league baseball and some of his fondest memories were making friends and memories on the ball field. If he wasn’t found playing baseball you could probably spot him riding on his long board. Josh also held a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature, often spending his free time outdoors, finding solace and joy in the world around him.
Josh was a quiet and shy individual, yet his big, loving heart spoke volumes. His love for his family was unwavering, and he never hesitated to make a phone call to check in. Despite the difficulties he faced, he was rarely seen without a smile on his face. Josh will be deeply missed.
