Joseph Alexander Harlow

Joseph Alexander Harlow, age 77 of Hendersonville, passed away at home on Thursday, April 12, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 5, 1941, to Bryan and Mary Gassaway Harlow.
He was a great husband, father and grandfather and was one who made friends everywhere he went. He enjoyed life and nature and was an avid Indiana Hoosier Fan.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Jo Harlow. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth Harlow; his son, Craig (Misti) Harlow; two daughters, Suzanne (Thomas) Simmons and Tress Harlow; his grandchildren, Cole Harlow, Cort Harlow and Caroline Simmons; and his former wife, Lois Harlow.
His family will receive friends on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 11:00am until his Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 1:00pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. Private interment will be in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
