On February 25, 2022, our world suffered a great tragedy with the loss of Jonathan Albert Rice, 39. To know Jonathan is to love him.
He was born on July 2, 1982 in Gallatin, TN to Billy Joe Rice and Pamela June Gray Rice. Jonathan worked hard alongside his father as owners of Royal Flush Plumbing Company servicing Sumner County and the surrounding areas for almost two decades. He was a devoted fiancé to Jenna Hardesty and father to their two sons, Lyric and Eli. He was well-known for his epic hugs, great conversation, and sense of humor. He was a beloved friend to many and his kindness, love, compassion, and generosity will be missed and cherished by countless others.
Jonathan was one of the most genuine souls that you could ever have the privilege to meet and he will remain irreplaceable in all of our lives.
He is survived by his fiancé, Jenna Hardesty of Gallatin; his sons: Lyric Hardesty-Rice and Eli Hardesty-Rice of Gallatin; his mother, Pamela June Gray Rice of Gallatin; his brother, Chris Rice of Gallatin; his sister, Jennifer Dicks of Beaver, PA; and his uncles and aunt. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Rice of Gallatin in 2018.
Because of the unexpectedness of his passing, a celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be open to all friends and family.
