John Murphy Myatt, Jr., age 64 of Hendersonville, passed away November 2, 2022. John was born in Nashville on December 16, 1957 to the late John Murphy Myatt, Sr. and the late Sally Ann Clayton. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kelly Myatt; children, Joey Myatt, Amanda Myatt (Jordan Hogan), Cam Myatt (Brianna), Skyler Manning (Gabby), Abby Nester (Marcus), and Spencer Manning (Alyssa Messina); grandchildren, Cade, Braedyn, Laightyn, Abby, Gabby, Kingston, Jordan, Thaxton, Kayden, Sawyer, and Miles. brother, Tim Myatt; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. John was a self-start business owner with 30 years of success. No one who met John forgot his infectious passion for living life to the fullest; whether his love of anything fast on wheels, being an avid sports fan, love of great food, or lending a friend a helping hand. John always has a smile on his face no matter the circumstances and was happy to strike up a conversation with anyone. He will be deeply missed. A celebration of John's life will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral Cremation Lakeside. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice.
