Joe Wayne Carey, age 54, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on October 29, 2021, in Nashville.
He was born on November 8, 1966 in Memphis, Tennessee, to Joe Carey and Peggy Carey. He was a construction worker by trade. Joe loved life & helping others when he could. His favorite scripture was John 3:16, "For God so loved the World, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in Him, will have everlasting life".
He is survived by his wife, Chrystal Carey; children, Amy Carey, Jeremiah May, and Tifny McHaney; three grandchildren; siblings, Kimberly Flake and Larry Carey ; nephews, Mark Carey, Chris Carey, and Jaimeson Flake; and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Mark Carey and sister Peggy Sue Carey.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 12:00 noon at First General Baptist Church in Milan, Tennessee.
