Jimmy Harold Sherlin, Sr.

Jimmy H. Sherlin Sr. of Gallatin, Tennessee born on October 30, 1929 in Cleveland, Tennessee went to Heaven on December 11, 2024. A wonderful man of God. Lover of Music and People. Friend to All. Lifelong Tennessee Volunteer and Gallatin Green Wave Fan. Father to seven children, four his own and three step children. Preceded in death by a son, Jimmy H. Sherlin. Jr. (Bo) daughter, Delilah Sherlin Mallard (James) all of Gallatin,Tennessee. Parents; Robert and Maude Ogle Sherlin, Sister; Dorothy Sherlin Frazier, Brothers; DA Sherlin, Jay Sherlin, Roy Sherlin, Mervin Sherlin, and Bob (Boog) Sherlin all of Cleveland, Tennessee.

Survived by his “Forever Yours Loving Wife” of 52 years Linda Maddux Smith Sherlin of Gallatin, Tennessee. Son; Eddie Sherlin and Daughter; Deborah Sherlin Case, both of Hendersonville, Tennessee. His Three Step-Children; Barry Dale Smith (Sherri), Paul Allen Smith, and Mary Ellen Sherlin (Billy) all of Gallatin, Tennessee. Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren,Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren and Many, Many Friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service of his life will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 1 PM at Free Indeed Fellowship Church. 825 South WaterAve. Gallatin, Tennessee. Visitation will be 11 AM til Service time.
