Jeffrey Joel Burtnett, 44 years old, passed away at his home in Lebanon, TN early on March 7th, 2021. He worked for CEVA Logistics in Lebanon as a fork lift driver and an employee trainer.
Jeff loved his family and especially enjoyed family gatherings. Among his hobbies were cooking, including inventing cuisine recipes, and he dreamed of owning his own food truck someday. He enjoyed grilling and hanging out with friends, and Jeff (Irish Nut to his friends) was always the life of the party! He also enjoyed music and writing songs.
Jeff was a jokester, always quick with the wit and loved to imitate voices of famous characters from movies. Always trying to get people to laugh and have a good time.
Jeff loved to go to the lake and the beach with his kids and always looked forward to family trips there.
Jeff was truly a character and loved everybody. He had a great smile and an ornery laugh. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He will be greeted in heaven by his grandparents (Bob, Helen, Bob and Paula) and is probably planning a party with his Uncle Joey, which is where he got his middle name Joel.
Jeff, you have left a huge void in our lives, we love you and will miss you forever. We know you’re up there driving that food truck and serving up your special recipes.
Jeff is survived by his children, Allia Burtnett, Madison Burtnett, Jay Burtnett, and Navayah Burtnett; grandchildren, DJ and Aniya; mother, Jacque Ramsey (Bill); father, Bob Burtnett (Sarah); siblings, Steve Burtnett (Rachel), Robin Burtnett, Tim Ramsey, and Sharleen Young; nieces, Bailee, Olivia, Kennedy, Tiegan, Brooklin, Riley, and Caitlyn; and nephews, Wesley, Kolby, Josh, Braden, and Austin.
A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, 3:00 P.M. at Grace Baptist Church, 410 Old Highway 31E, Bethpage, TN. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
