Jean Isabel Hesson, age 69 of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 7, 2020.
‘Jeanie’, as she was known to everyone who knew her, was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and her 2 dogs, Butch and Cookie. She loved to crochet and enjoyed making hats for the Preemies at Vanderbilt Hospital. She was a retired, dedicated employee of Hendersonville Hospital. Her church was her hobby and she was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church for over 40 years. Jeanie played clarinet in the church orchestra, she loved dearly her group of ladies in the orchestra.
Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Pyland; her brother, Tommy; and sisters, Sara and Pam.
She is survived by Ken, her husband of 43 years; their sons, Mitch (Alison) Hesson and Casey (Lauren) Hesson; grandchildren, Baeli and Oliver, Addie and Carter; and a sister, Susie.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am – 1:00pm Saturday, December 5, 2020 with services to follow at 1:00pm in the chapel at Hendersonville First Baptist Church.
