Jared Kevin Armistead

Jared Kevin Armistead, age 29 of Gallatin, TN passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023 at his home. He was born in Springfield, TN on March 31, 1994 to Kevin and Renea Armistead.

Jared leaves a legacy as a loving and devoted father, son, and brother. His passion for music was immense and he was a talented musician spending much of his life entertaining others with his music.  A true friend to so many, young and old, his concern was always centered on the individual, never himself. To know Jared, was to know that you were important and to also know he was probably going to make you laugh. He possessed a giving spirit, always eager to help those in need. Jared was blessed with a gift of vision and talent; what many found difficult just seemed to come easy for him. He had an innate ability to visualize a project or goal at hand, and had a natural ability and skill to complete the project to the highest expectations, whether it was working as a mechanic, doing renovation work, or anything that he believed needed attention.

Jared was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Winnifred Armistead. He is survived by his children, Atlas and Aria; his parents, Kevin and Renea; brothers, Jordan (Hannah) Armistead and Justin (Maritza) Armistead; grandparents, Willis and Nora Allen; nieces and nephews, Andrew, Ben, and Scout; and the mother of his children, Kelsey.

A celebration of Jared’s life will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Pick Inn, located at 550 Zieglers Fort Road in Gallatin, TN.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Jared will be laid to rest in a private ceremony in Crestview Memory Gardens.
