James Gordon Morris

James Gordon Morris, age 56 of Bethpage, passed away October 27, 2020 at St. Thomas Hospital West after a hard fought battle with Coronavirus. Gordon was born in Gallatin, Tennessee on February 20, 1964 to the late William G. Morris and the late Reba J. Morris Smith. Gordon loved his Lord, his wife, family, and friends; he enjoyed nature and the outdoors, and was known as a "jack of all trades." He will be remembered for his big heart, always giving and helping others. Gordon is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kimberly Dawn Pickard Morris; daughter, Andrea D. Morris; son, Justin K. Morris; siblings, Jeff Morris (Lisa), Penny Morris Morgan, Lesa Morris, and Deborah Garrison; brothers-in-law, Gary Pickard (Pam), Tim Pickard (Rita), and William Pickard (Heather); and his faithful furry companions, Ruger and Aurora. In accordance with his wishes, Gordon will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
