Mr. James Terry Jones, 66, of Castalian Springs, Tennessee, passed away Friday evening, February 18, 2022 at Sumner Regional Medical Center.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James Earl Jones & Gladys Evelyn Moore Jones; grandparents, Thomas & Ardelia Jones, and Mr & Mrs. Vee Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Jones, of Castalian Springs; daughter Julie Butler (Don) of Castalian Springs; sons Laramie Jones (Ashley) of White House and Brandon Butler (Michelle); 9 grandchildren: Kolby Lamb, John Lamb (Kierstan), Shon Lamb (Bri), Rylie Gipson, Madi Gipson, Dale Jones, Larryn Jones, Ryan Butler, and Bear Butler; 3 great-grand children: Gunner, Everleigh, and Alice Lamb.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. His hobbies included motorcycles, fishing, flying, and camping. He & Rose spent the last 3 years as camp hosts at Bledsoe Creek State Park.
Mr. Jones was cremated. A Celebration of Life is planned for May 14, 2022 at Shelter 2 of Bledsoe Creek State Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bledsoe Creek State Park.
